Xanthan Gum Polymer is a high molecular weight xanthan gum biopolymer. It used to viscosity water-based drilling and completion fluids. It is primarily a viscosity modifier for freshwater and salt saturated muds.

 

 

 

 

• It provides excellent suspension properties restricting the settlement of weighting agents and drilled cuttings.
• It is stable over a wide pH range and is effective in saturated brines as well as fresh and sea water base drilling fluids.
• It is resistant to bacterial fermentation.

 

 

Xanthan Gum is packed in 25kg, multi-wall, paper sacks.

Store in a dry location away from sources of heat or ignition and minimize dust.

 

 

Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the Material Safety Date Sheet (MSDS).
